ELA Notes is a topical publication sent quarterly to all current members. It includes the following information:
  • information on ELA activities
  • commentaries on significant legal developments
  • case notes on important education law decisions
  • information about new publications and education law events
School Law Reporter (view sample)
The School Law Reporter is published monthly and provides the following:
  • citations and case digests for all current education law decisions reported by state and federal courts of record in the United States
  • analyses of selected cases that are prepared by recognized authorities in the field of education law
  • most recent U.S. Supreme Court Docket

Membership Categories and Prices

  • Individual Membership (1-year) $145
    Individual members receive 4 issues of ELA Notes and 12 issues of the School Law Reporter with a Twelve-Month Case Index, a 35% discount on ELA publications, discounts on conference fees, and access to members-only online services.
  • Retired Membership (1-year) $100
    Retired members receive the same benefits as individual membership. Retired membership is available only for individuals retired and holding ELA membership for 15 years or more.
  • Student Membership (1-year Individual) $50
    Eligible students may receive an Individual Membership at a discounted rate. Student membership is available only for students taking 9 or more credit hours and may be held for a maximum of 2 years.
  • Library Subscription (1-year) $145
    Subscribers receive 4 issues of ELA Notes and 12 issues of the School Law Reporter with a Twelve-Month Case Index. No other member benefits apply.

*Members can opt to receive paper copies of ELA monthly material for an additional fee of $30.
